Medical publishing and medical communications

While I have wide-ranging experience, my speciality subject area is medical publishing and medical communications (and all things health-related). I have nearly 20 years’ experience in the field and have worked as a managing editor in a medical education agency. I am a member of the European Medical Writers Association, the US Council of Science Editors, and the Australasian Medical Writers Association.

I have a strong interest in all areas of health, mental health, and medicine. I have worked on publications and projects covering a variety of medical specialties and aimed at differing audiences from patients, nurses, and pharmacists through to GPs, specialists, and drug regulators.

Types of medical and health-related projects I have been involved in include books, journals, newsletters, patient magazines and brochures, website copy and online modules, educational programmes and training kits, scientific posters and presentations, conference abstract books and brochures, trial and meeting reports, clinical protocols, materials for clinical audits and questionnaires, clinical presentations for a variety of symposia, company reports, internal company magazines, and diverse marketing materials.
