What related services do I provide?

I am also available for the following services:

• project management of publications and projects through the production process

• some reviewing/fact checking, updating, and rewriting of existing text

• some health writing for consumers and technical writing (e.g. company reports and procedural manuals)

• building, uploading, and proofreading web content (using MySource Matrix and WYSIWYG content editors) and writing metadata for search engine optimisation (SEO)

• preparing manuscripts for typesetting, web, or multimedia development

• creating design briefs and liaising with designers, including commenting on designs, and crosschecking that corrections in the designed document have been correctly made

• checking printers’ proofs and web content

• other related duties (e.g. marking up references and sourcing images from photo libraries); if you have queries over whether I am able to do a specific task, do ask.

Please note: While I rewrite content as required and do some general writing aimed at consumers (e.g. writing introductions, linking copy and other copy for web content, and small general articles) and am very open to doing some technical writing, most of my experience has been in editorial. For my medical clients, as I am not a medical writer, I do not write or finish incomplete medical manuscripts aimed at healthcare professionals or source missing references.
